Peter J. Applefield
Peter J. Applefield is a co-founder of Applefield Waxman and Director of Advisory Services. He leads the firm’s service businesses throughout the State of Florida. He has over twenty-five years of experience in the Florida commercial markets and specializes in office and industrial sales and leasing. Mr. Applefield is a Certified Commercial Investment Member and a founding member and past President of the Realtors Commercial Society of Palm Beach County. He serves on the Board of Directors of the Business Development Board of Palm Beach County and the Palm Beach County Commission on Affordable Housing. He chairs the Palm Beach County Industrial Revenue Bond Committee and the Corporate Sponsor Committee of Palm Beach Day Academy. Prior to the formation of Applefield Waxman, Mr. Applefield served as the managing principal of Fischer-Gaeta-Cromwell-Applefield, a South Florida-based real estate brokerage. His experience at the company included the acquisition and disposition of over ten million square feet of commercial real estate.

Jack Cooney
Jack Cooney is Applefield Waxman’s Director of Fund Management. He is responsible for business development, structured finance and capital raising. He also provides support for investment strategy, sourcing and underwriting of investment opportunities and investor relations. Prior to joining Applefield Waxman, Mr. Cooney held various positions at Black Creek Capital, a Denver-based real estate private equity firm. Mr. Cooney began his career in investment banking at Lehman Brothers and Wachovia Securities, specializing in merger advisory and capital raising on behalf of institutional clients.

Vincent G. Hermanns
Vincent Hermanns is Applefield Waxman’s Director of Asset Management. He is responsible for monitoring the performance of investments relative to the strategic business plan, milestones, and budget for each property. Additionally, Mr. Hermanns oversees all aspects of property management, maintenance, construction supervision and technical services. He has over ten years of experience in commercial real estate management and is a Certified Property Manager.

Mali Liberty
Mali Liberty is Applefield Waxman’s Chief Operating and Financial Officer. She is responsible for all aspects of finance and administration for the company, including accounting, financial reporting, risk management and legal, investor and lender relations. She has over fifteen years of experience in commercial real estate finance and operations. She is a Certified Public Accountant and holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration.

Brian K. Waxman
Brian K. Waxman is a co-founder of Applefield Waxman and Director of Investments. He leads the firm’s investment strategy and assists with sourcing, analyzing and executing the firm’s real estate opportunities. He has over thirteen years of experience in the Florida commercial markets and specializes in transaction administration, structured finance and real estate private equity investments. He is a transactional attorney and a Certified Commercial Investment Member. He is a member of the Palm Beach County Land Development Regulation Advisory Board, the Economic Council of Palm Beach County, the Business Development Board of Palm Beach County, the West Palm Beach Downtown Development Authority, the Regional Board of Directors of Lydian Bank & Trust and the Young President’s Organization. He also serves on the Board of Trustees of the Loggerhead Marinelife Center and The Benjamin School. Prior to the formation of Applefield Waxman, Mr. Waxman served as Managing Principal of Waxman Property Group, a South Florida-based real estate investment company. His experience at the company included the origination, execution and development of over one million square feet of commercial real estate. Mr. Waxman began his career practicing law at Jones, Foster, Johnston & Stubbs, a West Palm Beach-based commercial law firm. His experience at the firm included banking, insurance, real estate and general corporate transactions.
